Stumble upon Rumble is the first-ever play-to-earn game that is fully based on players’ skills. We have built our game on the Fantom blockchain and it is ready to go live very soon. Apart from being among the first-movers in blockchain gaming, we also offer a whole range of cool & unique features that make us stand out from the rest.
While creating SuR we took inspiration both from the games we played in our childhoods - simple and competitive - and the ones we have in the play-to-earn era. We gathered only the best qualities of retro games and blockchain games, subtracted any possible drawbacks of both, and mixed everything in Stumble upon Rumble.

We are a free-to-play game on the Fantom blockchain. This means that players can access SuR from anywhere in the world without any restrictions. We did not like that the current blockchain gaming space favours high paying players and designed SuR in a way that you don’t need to pay for any in-game assets to succeed. Fantom network features very low gas fees making our game even more accessible. SuR eliminates all the entry barriers for all players.

As the game is 100% skill-based, you can also wager. This will be the core of our economy as it is not only fun and intense but also sustainable until the end of time. As players remain in full control of the outcome of a match, wagering is completely legal.
Initially, the $GLOVE token will be used for players to wager on themselves. Later you will also be able to stake behind top players and get a share of their earnings.

We know that socialising is very important for you and wanted to create some in-game downtime for you, too. SuR fights always happen in real-time with real people. You have 2 options here. You can either choose to join the live queue, get in the ring and test your skills or relax and socialise with up to 40 other players in the room while watching fights in the ring.
We are working on introducing more mechanics for you to socialise in the game. Over time you will get a chance to participate in team-based events, tournaments, boss fights, mini-games and other activities with more players.

We describe the Stumble upon Rumble gameplay as easy to learn but hard to master.
Players have two types of actions at their disposal: movement and attack. These are the only mechanics that are available to the players, there are no additional attacks or upgrades available. This is to ensure a level playing field for everyone.
Movement
The player can move in 8 directions: up, down, left, right and each of the diagonals. The movement happens instantly. We foresee that fighters will work on their unique technique to create deceiving moves that trick the opponent.
Attack
Players can use 3 attack mechanics in the game: punch, kick and block. They follow somewhat of a Rock-Paper-Scissors design, where each beats one but loses to the other. The punch is a fast attack but its downside is that it can be blocked, leaving the player stunned. The kick goes straight through the enemy’s block but takes a while to execute, which is why it can be countered with a punchmaking it counterable with a punch. The block can instantly stun punching enemies but leaves players tied to one place and their sides exposed to hits.
There will be other game modes to experience in Stumble upon Rumble, too. All of them will be rolled out in time. We want to involve our community in the governance process by letting them suggest game modes & mini-games and voting on their priority.

Some of the game modes we have in mind:
1 vs 1 Arena
The core gameplay. Players queue up in a server room of up to 40 users and take turns fighting each other on the ring.
While two players fight other users can view the fight to learn from the strategies or simply socialize with peers in the room. The fight winner stays on the ring and takes up the next fight, while the loser gets back in the live queue.
In the beginning, this game mode will be incentivized with rewards for the first X matches played daily. In addition, there will be seasonal leaderboards with bigger rewards for users of this game mode.
4 vs 4 & 2 vs 2
This game mode will require some sort of clan system where players form a group and get placed on the leaderboard together. The ring expands accordingly so that the players have plenty of room to move around. This game mode creates incredible dynamics as teams can form their own collaborative strategies.
Limited time events & Boss Fights
Those are the events where players get to challenge an AI opponent with special abilities during a particular time frame, such as one weekend. Successful attempts get rewarded with reward chests that can contain special NFTs available only during the event.
Mini-games
We are working on a variety of fun mini-games that will be open at set times with accompanying live streams. Looking forward to the ideas from our community on the mini-games you want to watch & participate in.
Tournaments
Tournaments will be held on a periodical basis and can be applied to any of the game modes. Top players are rewarded with unique one-off NFTs and native $GLOVE tokens. Players who score the most victories in normal matches will get qualified for the tournaments, so only the best of the best will get the opportunity to compete. In addition, we plan to run daily tournaments where players chip in a share of $GLOVE tokens to the pool and the winner receives all the tokens in the pool.

Tokennomics
GLOVE is the native token of the Stumble upon Rumble ecosystem.
The key to our token economics is that it does not rely on game-side incentives like fixed rewards per match. Instead, the economy thrives on zero-sum peer-to-peer incentives. We also accounted for enough token sinks to kickstart deflationary mechanism if the community governance rules on it.
GLOVE has several utilities and can be used for:
Primary market sales: There are exclusive items that will only be sold in-game in return for the native token. It can also be used to burn or reward token holders as part of the sales profit funds the treasury,
Wagering: the house always wins...There is a small fee hidden in the payouts like that of traditional bookmakers when players wager amongst themselves, against the AI or on ongoing tournaments. For example, if both players wager 1 token, the winner receives 1.95 tokens, the loser receives none and the remaining 0.05 tokens go back to the treasury.
Admission fees: Some game modes like tournaments or boss fights will require an entry fee to participate. In tournaments, a large part of the fees is used to pay out the winners, but there can still be a small fee for the house. In boss fights, a large part of the fee goes back into the treasury which can create a big sink.
Custom characters: Whale Sink...There is an opportunity for whale-players to team up with one of our artists and design his exclusive character for a large number of tokens like 100K tokens.
Staking and LP rewards: We will set aside a part of the tokens to incentivize token holders who engage in staking and liquidity provision.
