📈 Weighted Investment Pools

Weighted investment pools turn the concept of an index fund on its head: instead of paying fees to portfolio managers to rebalance your portfolio, you collect fees from traders, who rebalance your portfolio by following arbitrage opportunities. Each pool can contain up to 8 different tokens, where each token is assigned a weight defining what fraction of the pool is made up by each asset.

💵 Stable Pools

For certain assets that are expected to consistently trade at near parity (e.g. different varieties of stablecoins or synthetics), we utilize the StableSwap AMM as popularized by Curve. These pools allow for larger trades of these assets before encountering significant price impact.

Beethoven X provides a Uniswap style trading experience, to allow for trading from one token for another. Behind the scenes, the Smart Order Router (SOR) intelligently sources liquidity from multiple pools so as to automatically figure out the best available price from all available pools.

Earn BEETS by staking your liquidity provider (LP) tokens.

💸 Earn Protocol Fees

Protocol fees will distributed to Liquidity Stakers. Provide liquidity in one of the 80/20 BEETS weighted pools to earn your portion of 30% of the protocol fees. Wherever possible, we will introduce protocol fees for transactions, with 30% of the fees being used to buy BEETS off the open market and redistribute them to Liquidity Stakers. 50% of protocol fees will be used to build a diversified DAO controlled treasury.

Tokenomics

The BEETS token is the governance token for the Beethoven X protocol. Additionally, BEETS liquidity stakers will collect a portion of protocol fees in the near future. BEETS has a total maximum supply of 250,000,000.

Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP)

The Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool will use the allocated 2% of the Total Max Supply of BEETS (5,000,000 BEETS) and $43,000 worth of USDC.

5M BEETS tokens will be distributed using a Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP). The exact date and time will be announced.
The LBP will run for 24 hours and is open to anyone.
The LBP is not like a regular weighted pool. The price will start very high to disincentivize bots, front-running and speculation. Over time, the price will automatically decrease by design.
Below is a graph that shows the BEETS/USDC pool weight starting at 95/5 (with a high BEETS price) and declining to 80/20 (lower BEETS price) over 24 hours.
At the end of the 24 hour period, the funds will be transferred from the LBP into an 80/20 BEETS/USDC weighted pool.
The LP tokens received by the development team for making the initial pool will deposited into the BEETS/USDC farm on behalf of a vesting contract that will be time-locked for 180 days. The farm rewards will not be vested.
NOTE: the graph below assumes no buy/sell orders, the price will very likely fluctuate at variance with the below model as we expect buying pressure to occur. The models below are only an illustration of the basic operation of the LBP function.
