Bomber Punks is a 2D P2E GameFi on the Fantom Opera network. Players will compete head to head on a proceduraly generated map in a battle of wits and strategy to become the ultimate bomber champion and win Bomber Punk tokens ($BPUNK)


The game will consist of ways to breed, earn and bomb your way to the top in style and fashion using your uniquely minted bombers.


Our first bombers will be released in Q1 2022. These Bombers will be known as the Generation Alpha and will be the only bombers able to breed which will further opportunity for later adopters. It is within the community interest to later introduce a rental system increasing player outreach and passive income.


Core Fundamentals:
  • Bombers Punks is a 2D P2E GameFi built on the Fantom Opera network

  • BomberPunk Token ($BPUNK) will be the sole token used for governence and utility (Breeding, game direction etc)

  • Community is fundamental in a successful GameFi, we intend to allow players to dictate the games direction and growth.



The core gameplay


Pre-match lobby:

All competitors will be placed in a lobby consisting of a total of 4 contenders.

Each player will have 60 seconds to choose their bomber. Once all competitors are locked in. Each chosen bomber is shown in the lobby.


Game start:
  • Each player will be placed on a corner of the map on game start, adjacent to all other players within the match

  • A 10 second countdown will begin, giving players a moment to study the proceduraly generated map ahead of them to plan their strategy. On 0, a game timer will be placed on all players screens

  • Each player will start with 3 lives. Once all 3 lives are lost the player is out. From which they can choose to spectate the remainder of the match or return to the menu.


Game mechanics:
  • Each match will be a length of 3 minutes.

  • At 1.30 minutes remaining on the clock, the map will start to enclose on the remaining players. Anyone caught on the border will lose one life and respawn within the boundaries.

  • From 1.30 minutes, each subsequent 20 seconds the game border will further close. Shrinking the battlefield.

  • each race will have a defined ability which players can use with their strategy [character abilities]


Game end:

The game will end when one competitor remains standing. This competitor will be crowned the match winner and will be awarded in $BPUNK for their victory. The amount of $BPUNK rewarded will be calculated based on their performance within the match.


Weekly contracts

At the beginning of every week. Starting on Mondays, weekly contracts will be available for players to fulfil.


These contracts will reward the players who complete them with extra $BPUNK. Once a contract has been complete, the player will need to wait for the next week contracts to come in.


We are going to release tiered contracts, the harder/more time consuming the contracts are, the greater the reward received. Completing all of the weekly contracts successfully within that week will reward players a bonus.


Some examples of weekly contracts could be as follows:
Bronze tier contract -
  • Participate in 25 games

  • Get 20 kills

  • Successfully kill 10 Advena bombers


Silver tier contract -
  • Participate in 50 games

  • Get 50 kills

  • Successfully kill 25 Advena bombers


Gold tier contract -
  • Participate in 100 games

  • Get 100 kills

  • Successfully kill 50 Advena bombers


NOTE: The above list is tentative and are subject to change. These are possible examples that could be implemented into the game.



Breeding

Owning a Generation Alpha bomber has more perks than just being an early adopter. This generation will be the only generation able to breed, paving a way to all future generations.


To begin breeding, there a few factors to take into consideration.


The Basics
  1. 1.You must have atleast 2 bombers to be able to breed.

  2. 2.Each bomber can breed up to 6x increasing cost each time bred. [See costing table]

  3. 3.Currently there is no determined factor on which race you will recieve. example: Breeding 2 Advena's does not gurantee you an Advena

  4. 4.There is a cooldown on how often you can breed. This is determined by the amount of times the bombers have originally bred. [See costing table]


Restrictions

At this point in time there are no restrictions when it comes to breeding. Holders are able to breed any race with any race.


Lending/Renting

Renting out Bomber Punks is a fundamental service that will open up the game to users who may not have the funds to purchase their own Bomber Punk.


Because of how integral this process is, we want to make sure that the rental system is scam free and optimised for ease of use. We're going to achieve this by using a trustless rental system.


What is a trustless rental system?

A trustless rental system is a type of service that will offer security for both Manager and Scholar. We do this by building an entire system which deals with all transactions between both parties. NO FUNDS will be handled by any of the parties until the contractual agreement has been met.


This system will have three types of rental process. Fixed Renting, Direct renting and Profit share renting.


Fixed Rental:

Fixed rental will be the simplest version of all the available models. This functions as follows:

  1. 1.A Manager will list their desired Bomber Punk on the in-game market for "3 Days" & 1000 $BPUNK.

  2. 2.The chosen Bomber Punk will be sent to an Escrow wallet to be held until either the manager removes it from the market or a scholar has chosen to rent.

  3. 3.A Renter can browse the rental marketplace and choose a desired Bomber Punk to use. In this example he will choose the above. Once the renter has chosen their desired rental, accepted the agreement and sent the funds to a "Middleman" wallet (An Escrow account). The Bomber Punk will be released to the Scholars wallet and The $BPUNK released to the Manager.

  4. 4.The manager will not be able to retrieve the bomber until the time has been met on the contract.


Direct Rental:

We know guilds are a huge part of P2E GameFi's and we want to make sure that this system is accessible to them in a much larger operation.


For this we have created an option for guild managers to create a rental contract which can be sent directly to a renter of their choosing. Pending acceptance of the contract, the scholar would receive the Bomber Punk automatically. No other player will be able to accept the agreement other than the scholar it was sent to.


This type of rental can still follow the core fundamentals of both the Fixed Rental & Profit Share models but with a greater operational overview.


Profit Sharing:

To cover all avenues of renting. We have also chosen a profit sharing model. This type of rental will still offer the exact same security as the previous models.


Profit sharing gives large holders of Bomber Punks the opportunity to make use of their inactive bombers by granting an option to list them on an Open rental marketplace.


In order for the holder to list their Bomber Punk on this market, they will need to select a profit split % they would like in return for loaning them out and it is important to note that there is NO TIME contractual agreement. This means the manager could return their Bomber Punk to their wallet at anytime if they choose to do so.


This gives both the manager and scholar opportunity to earn in a collaborative way. Manager via passive income and the scholar being able to play the game without owning a bomber.
