UNI Token Soars as Uniswap Unveils Deflationary Fee-Burn Model and LP Rewards
The UNI token, native to leading decentralized exchange Uniswap, rocketed nearly 40% to around $9.70 after the Uniswap Foundation and Uniswap Labs unveiled the “UNIfication” proposal—a set of token-friendly updates designed to enhance UNI’s value proposition. Central to the plan is a protocol-level fee switch that will automatically burn collected fees, alongside an immediate burn of 100 million UNI (roughly 16% of the circulating supply).
