Story

The Arrival of Satoshi

A long, long time ago, in the little Kingdom of Opulentos, there was a time of peace, prosperity and best of all – great profits! Until one fateful day, when a massive army of creatures arrived at their gates from the ‘Great Beyond’ (the undiscovered lands beyond Opulentos’s borders) and launched a brutal assault on the kingdom. The army was led by Furmalum, an evil warlock who sought to plunge the Crypto World into darkness by stealing the wealth from all Kingdoms.

The Oracle, who had ruled the Kingdom of Opulentos for centuries, summoned the aid of the great sorcerer Satoshi and his fellowship of Crypto Prophets, (a powerful species able to yield the mysterious “profit magic”) to defend Opulentos’s borders.

After a gruelling war that lasted over 100 crypto-years, Furmalum and his army were defeated by Satoshi and banished to the ‘Great Beyond’ from whence they came.

The Kingdom of Opulentos was victorious, yet it suffered devastating losses. Like the many neighbouring kingdoms that fell before them, they too saw thousands of Crypto Prophets perish in battle. Their Kingdom was virtually destroyed, and their economy was on the brink of ruin.

Era of the Crypto Prophets

After the demise of Furmalum, The Oracle passed a decree to re-open the fabled innocuous Battle Arena to help reignite Opulentos’ economic growth, rebuild their Kingdom and repopulate their kind.

Legend has it that Crypto Prophets love nothing more than fiscal gain, whether for personal wealth or for the benefit of friends and their kingdom. Natheless, many Crypto Prophets enter the Battle Arena, but few amass the experience, reputation and influence to forge a unique prophecy and earn said place in the fellowship.

Cometh the hour to nurture and prosper. Convey thy prophecy and claim one’s place as the greatest Prophet in the Crypto World.

Thus begins the Age of the Crypto Prophets.

Game

Crypto Prophets

Prophets are a scarce and mysterious type of magical creature that roam the Crypto World. Although one can find Prophets in every race in the Crypto World, each race has different inherent magic that flows within them.

They are highly collectible NFTs that can be customised by connecting unique NFTs with magical abilities and spells.

Aside from being 'masters of magic', Prophets are typically fat-fingered, greedy creatures with a profound weakness for Crypto gains.

The scattered races of the Crypto World

You will find Crypto Prophets lurking within every race and Kingdom of the Crypto World.

Here are initial races and prophets you can expect to find in Generation 1 (G1) of The Crypto Prophecies:

1. The Satoshians

Territory:

The volcanic plains of Middle Earth where the chaotic and volatile power of mother nature thrives.

Characteristics:

Satoshians are of mythical status across all lands within The Crypto World. They can harness a lot of raw power and are heralded as powerful wizards, often wielding strong and overpowering magic.

Magical Source:

Fire. Their magical source represents their volatility and their connection to the raw energy they instil in their actions.

Appearance: Satoshians typically have features that make them often mistaken for fairies and fair folk. However, do not be deceived. They often have demonic horns, and even brandish their fire on the outside

2. The Etherians

Territory:

The Forbidden forests and forgotten wellsprings. Etherians thrive the most when they are surrounded by the constantly changing natural world.

Characteristics:

They epitomise the cycle of life and cherish their role as builders, working together with the nature around them to create and nurture new life.

Magical Source:

Nature. Their magical source represents their sympathetic connection to all living things.

Appearance:

Etherians resemble that of the natural world often mistaken for miniature Treants sporting mossy growths and blooming flowers of varying degrees.

3. The Ripptilians

Territory:

The swamplands and underground caverns that border the Great Beyond. Ripptilians are drawn to territories with great sources of geothermal and magnetic energies.

Characteristics:

Ripptilians are cold-blooded creatures with a reputation for being devious and manipulative, some folk tales even claim that the Ripptilians are not even real Prophets.

Magical Source:

Telekinesis. Using only the mind Ripptilians have the ability to influence, control and manipulate matter in all its forms - natural, organic or artificial.

Appearance:

Ripptilians may have long, serpent-like bodies with small limbs that resemble the Basilisk. Some have been seen with multiple heads like the mythical Hydra.

4. The Tezmanians

Territory:

Inland settlements, largely sheltered from the goings-on from the Great Beyond and barriers that edge between all realms.

Characteristics:

An honest and peaceful race that has constantly evolving DNA keeping the Tezmanians forever young. Do not let appearances fool you, the Tezmanians are a powerful race.

Magical Source:

Arcane. Volatile magic harnessed from immense magical channels that run deep beneath the Crypto World. Using Arcane Tezmanians can warp time and space.

Appearance:

Childlike features with almost alien-like heads often pointed or obscurely shaped, their antennas are their distinct features.

Token

The TCP token utility

The TCP token will be a fungible token using the ERC20 token standard. The TCP token powers the ecosystem and brings value to the ecosystem.

The TCP token can be used in the following ways:

1. To wager in player versus player game modes.

2. To purchase NFT characters, items and ancillaries.

3. As a prize in daily probabilistic draws.

4. To gain access to special events and tournaments.

5. Ecosystem governance and voting rights.

Governance

The TCP token will have the ability to be usable as a governance token, on a ‘one token equals one vote’ basis. Initially, token holders will be offered the ability to vote on minor proposals on how to evolve the ecosystem. If voting proves successful with the community, more involved and complex governance could be explored such as voting on the monetary policy parameters, referral rewards, incentives and prize draw frequencies.

TCP token burning

Half of the 3% Kingdom fee that is charged on all wagers and platform transactions will be burned automatically by sending to a 0x0000 address. This will constantly reduce the circulating supply of TCP tokens.
