Fantom (FTM) ブロックチェーン

Tomb Finance

Tomb Finance, home to the first algorithmic token pegged to $FTM on the Fantom Opera network.

The Big Picture

The $TOMB algorithmic token serves as the backbone of a rapidly growing ecosystem aimed towards bringing liquidity and new use cases to the Opera network.

The protocol's underlying mechanism dynamically adjusts $TOMB's supply, pushing its price up or down relative to the price of $FTM.

Inspired by the original idea behind Basis as well as its predecessors (bDollar and soup), Tomb.finance is a multi-token protocol which consists of the following three tokens: -

  • Tomb ($TOMB)

  • Tomb Shares ($TSHARE)

  • Tomb Bonds ($TBOND).

What differentiates $TOMB from other algorithmic tokens?

Unlike previous algorithmic tokens, $TOMB is not pegged to a stable coin— it is instead pegged to $FTM. Why is this?

Tomb.Finance believes in the potential of Fantom Opera, and has chosen to align its mission to both provide value to and derive value from $FTM's future growth. In addition to existing and future use cases such as FTMPad, $TOMB aims to become the main medium of exchange on Fantom Opera: this will be achieved by providing a mirrored, liquid asset to $FTM.

One of the primary shortcomings of past algorithmic tokens has been a lack of use cases, leaving no good reason for somebody to want to use or hold them. In order to successfully maintain the peg in the long-run, the Tomb team will maintain a focus on innovation around enhanced functionality and use cases.

Tokens

Tomb ($TOMB): TOMB token is designed to be used as a medium of exchange. The built-in stability mechanism in the protocol aims to maintain Tomb's peg to 1 Fantom (FTM) token in the long run.

Tomb Shares ($TSHARE): TOMB Shares are one of the ways to measure the value of the TOMB Protocol and shareholder trust in its ability to maintain TOMB close to peg. During epoch expansions the protocol mints TOMB and distributes it proportionally to all TSHARE holders who have staked their tokens in the Masonry (boardroom).

TSHARE holders have voting rights (governance) on proposals to improve the protocol and future use cases within the Tomb finance ecosystem.

TSHARE has a maximum total supply of 70000 tokens distributed as follows:

  1. 1.DAO Allocation: 5500 TSHARE vested linearly 12 months

  2. 2.Team Allocation: 5000 TSHARE vested linearly over 12 months

  3. 3.Remaining 59500 TSHARE are allocated for incentivizing Liquidity Providers in two shares pools for 12 months

Tomb Bonds ($TBOND): TOMB Bonds main job is to help incentivize changes in TOMB supply during an epoch contraction period. When the TWAP (Time Weighted Average Price) of TOMB falls below 1 FTM, TBONDs are issued and can be bought with TOMB at the current price. Exchanging TOMB for TBOND burns TOMB tokens, taking them out of circulation (deflation) and helping to get the price back up to 1 FTM. These TBOND can be redeemed for TOMB when the price is above peg in the future, plus an extra incentive for the longer they are held above peg. This amounts to inflation and sell pressure for TOMB when it is above peg, helping to push it back toward 1 FTM.

Provide TOMB/TSHARE LP

In order to provide Liquidity, we first have to purchase either TOMB or TSHARE (have a look at our "How to buy TOMB section if you need help in doing so), depending on which you want to provide liquidity for.

Providing liquidity is possible on Spookyswap.finance. Head over to the Liquidity tab on the left side of your screen. Connect your wallet (Make sure your Metamask is on the FTM Opera Network). Now you have to choose Ingredient A and B. Ingredient A will be FTM and ingredient B will either be TOMB or TSHARE.
